Root Canal Treatment

Eliminate the pain and save your natural tooth.

Intense dental pain, prolonged sensitivity or discomfort when chewing can be a sign that the nerve of the tooth is affected.

At Moran Dental Clinic we perform root canal treatments with precision, care and a comfortable approach for the patient. Our goal is to relieve pain, eliminate the infection and preserve your natural tooth whenever possible.

"Don't wait for the pain to get worse. Timely treatment can save your tooth."

What is it?

The treatment that saves your tooth

Endodontics, also known as root canal treatment, is a procedure that treats the inside of the tooth when the nerve is inflamed, infected or damaged.

During the treatment, the inside of the tooth is cleaned, the canals are disinfected and then sealed to protect it.

The goal:

In many cases, root canal treatment allows us to preserve a tooth that would otherwise have to be extracted.

Symptoms

When might you need a root canal?

You may need a root canal if you have:

Intense or constant dental pain
Pain when chewing
Sensitivity to cold or heat that doesn't go away quickly
Swelling of the gum
Abscesses or dental infection
Discoloration of a tooth
Pain that appears at night
Deep cavities
Fracture or trauma to a tooth

If you have any of these symptoms, it's best to come in for an evaluation as soon as possible.

Important

Why shouldn't you ignore the pain?

When the tooth's nerve is damaged or infected, the problem can progress. The pain can get worse, the infection can spread and the tooth can be lost.

Treating it on time helps prevent complications and may allow us to preserve your natural tooth.

Dental pain shouldn't be normalized. It's a sign that something needs attention.

Our approach

Precise, comfortable, fear-free care

At Moran Dental Clinic we understand that many patients feel nervous when they hear the word "root canal".

That's why we take care of every stage of the treatment so that you have a clear, safe and as comfortable as possible experience.

We work with modern techniques, local anesthesia and careful planning to help you eliminate the pain and recover your peace of mind.

"A root canal doesn't have to be a traumatic experience."

How we work

The process, step by step

We guide you through every stage with clarity and care.

1

Evaluation and diagnosis

We examine the tooth, your symptoms and take the necessary studies to confirm the diagnosis.

2

Local anesthesia

We apply anesthesia so the procedure is comfortable.

3

Cleaning the inside of the tooth

The affected tissue is removed and the canals are cleaned and disinfected.

4

Sealing the tooth

The canals are sealed to prevent a new infection.

5

Final restoration

After the root canal, the tooth must be restored with resin, an inlay or a crown, depending on the damage.

What patients ask us most

Does a root canal hurt?

It shouldn't hurt during the procedure. A root canal is performed with local anesthesia and is designed to eliminate pain, not cause it.

After treatment there may be temporary sensitivity or discomfort, but this is usually managed with the right instructions and medication.

After the treatment

What happens after a root canal?

After a root canal, it's important to restore the tooth correctly. This helps protect it, recover its function and prevent fractures.

In some cases a resin can be placed. In others, an inlay or a crown may be necessary, especially if the tooth has lost a lot of structure.

Aesthetic resin

For cases where the damage is minor and the tooth still has most of its structure.

Inlay

A more resistant option when a significant portion of the tooth has been lost.

Dental crown

Recommended when the tooth has lost a lot of structure. It protects it and restores full function.

During your evaluation we'll explain which option is best to preserve it.
