What is digital smile design?

It's a process where we plan your new smile before performing any treatment, supported by technology:

• Clinical photography of your face and smile.
• Intraoral scanning (Medit i700) for an accurate digital impression.
• Digital design (Exocad) of the shape, proportion and position of the teeth.

This way you can visualize the expected result and take part in the decisions, instead of getting a surprise at the end.

Why we aim for natural results

A "catalog" smile —too white, too uniform, too big— usually gives away that a treatment was done. Our approach is different: we start from your features, facial proportions and individual traits to design a balanced smile.

The goal isn't for people to notice that "you had something done," but to notice that you look great.

How it's achieved: the materials

Depending on your case, the design can be done with different solutions:

• Porcelain or composite veneers, for changes in shape, color and position.
• Crowns in zirconia or lithium disilicate (E-max) when a tooth needs more coverage.
• Aesthetic fillings (composite) for more conservative corrections.
